OMG some people are so ignorant. I applaud GAP for this ad. They say it’s offending a big chunk of their [GAP’s] customers ..hey, the world is full of heterosexual advertising and it’d be just as stupid for us to go after everything straight and try and change it as going after everything that shows support for the LGBTQ community.
As a bisexual woman, I don’t let the majorly heterosexual ad-campaigns bother me. Yes, I would love to see more equal focus on all sexualities, but I don’t let the fact that that’s not being done all that much bug me. It sucks, yes, but *shrugs*, I don’t dwell on it. Like the offended straight people who have a problem with gay ads and such - IGNORE it for fucks sake and get over it. There are gay people in the world, nothing you can do about it, and keeping that out of the media is not going to make them dissappear. There’s always going to be something in the media that offends somebody.
